On the 12th of Septemer 1745, the East Indiaman Götheborg headed for her home port after almost two years of sailing the world´s oceans. The ship suffered heavily from storms, and the crew were exhausted but full of expectation. But alas, the triuphant homecoming would end in catastrophe. With a pilot on board and before the very eyes of encouraging Göteborgers in small boats and on hte beaches, the vessel ran aground in the middle of the entrance to Göteborg harbour - and sunk with her entire cargo. Thanks to all nearby boats, all the crew survived. Repeated attempts with varying success were made to salvage the valuable cargo, which was worth as much as the national budget.

2779;Premium gloves, true winners
With our gloves you are always on track, heat after heat. After years of hard work we can proudly announce that these polyurethane gloves are true winners, with point scorers such as flexibility, fit, grip and breathability. Obvious attributes of a winning class, whether at Silverstone or Monaco!
2780;Assemblygloves Micro-Foam
Working with gloves all day can be a major a strain on the skin. The polyurethane coating on traditionally manufactured gloves can also be found on the inside of the gloves, which results in fast generation of heat and sweating. These gloves are manufactured with a micro-foam technique that is 100% waterbased, silicone-free and entirely free from solvents. The slightly perforated coating allows the skin to breathe and all sweat is quickly absorbed despite the fact that the material is both water and oil proof. In addition our "stretch-to-fit" design makes the gloves extremely elastic, resulting in a perfect fit.

Gloves for the heavy-duty work
Can you feel it in your fingers? We have consulted with construction workers and mechanics to produce a completely new kind of glove, specifically adapted for working conditions that require durability and fine motor ability – simultaneously. We do not need to mention that these gloves have an exceptional fit.
2786;
Assembly gloves Single Ply
All single-ply gloves are woven by computer aided weaving machines that use a single thread for the entire glove. But the most important thing is of course fit. On these pages you will find gloves that have been approved by the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute (SP) for the discharge of static electricity and which have been specifically adapted for delicate assembly work within, for example, telephony. There are also cut-proof gloves, also tested andapproved. And then there are the non-classified dust-free gloves.
2787;Amara Summer
This generation of synthetic glove allows the hand to breathe better than most leather models. The material – a combination of polyamide and polyurethane – is lightweight, thanks to conical pores. The slim, yet durable quality gives the gloves excellent dexterity and an extremely good fit. An extra bonus is that they are machine washable! The collection is chrome-free and therefore recommended for people that are allergic to chrome.
2788;Amara Winter
The Amara winter collection is made from a revolutionary new material – a breathable synthetic leather. The pores keep the moisture out while releasing excess moisture. The material – a combination of polyamide and polyurethane – is slimmer and more flexible than normal leather, giving the glove a unique fit. The slim Schanker lining makes it suitable for precision assembly work in colder environments. All models are chrome-free and therefore recommended for people that are allergic to chrome.
2789;In the Navy series there are a number of classics; sturdy assembly gloves that companies purchase year after year. The material is a durable goatskin. Velcro, protective cuffs and fleece lining are just a few of the practical details.
2790;Sheepskin or goatskin? That is the question. In our khaki-sand series you will find both. And you will feel the quality immediately. The most important quality that both of these materials have is dexterity. The goatskin is however somewhat more durable and better against moisture than the sheepskin. On the other hand, the sheepskin fits like a glove…
2791;In the black family we have brought together a group of good value grain leather gloves – classic models and new products with durability in common. These gloves are comfortable and functional, and the perforations from the pig’s bristle allow the material to breathe.
2792;To help you find what you are looking for we have put our gloves into ‘families’. But there are also a number of special gloves that are in a class of their own, such as the goatskin favourites and the elasticated nitrile gloves.
2793;M-tex™ keeps out water, while releasing all excess moisture, keeping your hands warm and dry.
2794;M-breaker™ resists cold winds. The material breathes well and keeps your hands warm and dry.
2852;Leather work gloves are often essential. And in our wide range of Soft Touch gloves you will find everything you need. For example, the bestselling Nord and Classic series – fully and partially lined gloves with the right grip and durability. Among these special gloves, you will notice the Traffic glove with 3M reflector tape and the Truck glove in unlined goatskin.
2851;Our range of ProTec work gloves feels lightweight due to the material on the back of the hand. The material and double seams are extra strong, to endure the rough stuff. All models are designed to last a long time. Many other gloves give at the seams, particularly at the index finger. In addition all models have an inbuilt elastic band, which helps prevent unnecessary injuries. The material on the back of the hand is specially procured, allowing us to supervise the entire production process. We can therefore guarantee that each ProTec work glove is of a much more even and high quality than a standard work glove.
2853;What function should your gloves have? Bear in mind that material is very important! The cowhide glove – extra strong, durable and water-resistant. The pigskin glove – flexible and breathable, thanks to its porous surface. The furniture hide glove – durable and cheap, as it is manufactured from leftover leather. Colour can however vary. A glove with the grain side outward is hardwearing and water-resistant. A glove with the split side outward is heat-resistant up to approx. 100°C and provides a good grip, but is not particularly water-resistant.
2795;Fluorescent gloves are seen!
How do you see your work? When visibility is essential, you must choose a glove with the right characteristics for your particular needs. Apart from the fact that all of these gloves are flourescent, they also have specific qualities, such as being winter-lined, semi-lined or fully lined. Our signal glove is made from durable grain cowhide leather with 3M reflectors. Assembly gloves are available in two styles depending on the weather; semi-lined or winterlined and our knitted flourescent gloves have PVC mini-dots on the inner hand.
2808;Can you handle the pressure? Sparks fly from all directions, which is why it’s not just your hands that you should be protecting. Our range of protective leather welding clothing is of a very high standard and all seams are sewn with kevlar thread.
2796;Cotton is perhaps the most comfortable material you can have next to your skin. Cotton breathes well, does not cause any static electricity and is comfortable to wear. By tailor-making cotton gloves for every situation, we are able to provide the best protection and fit. For those of you that appreciate a comfortable inner glove inside a larger glove, we recommend a pair of knitted cotton gloves.
2797;Do you have high demands of gloves that are durable and protective against cuts, abrasions and rips? Then our nitrile-coated gloves are the right choice. Soft Touch Grip and Contact are specially designed for medium to heavy industrial work. For the really tough jobs, you should choose Grip, whereas Contact is more suited to work requiring dexterity. One major advantage with nitrile gloves is that they rarely cause allergic reactions. In addition they are shape-resistant and mashine washable.
2798;If you require high durability, comfort and fit, we recommend a pair of sewn nitrile gloves. Dynamic is best suited to environments such as roadworks and construction sites. The elastic sits perfectly on the hand, thanks to the elasticated back and is perfect for assembly work. For the colder months we have two models with a winterlining. Worknit is a legendary glove with a long lifespan and a great fit to complement our range.
2854;
The gloves on this page have been specially designed for those of you that work offshore or with fish or santiation. But they are also suitable for refineries, the chemical industry and in mines. Ruff Fisherman (the red glove) is the favourite of most fishermen. They value the fit and the grip-friendly coating (fish grip), which provides a great grip on damp equipment and slippery fish. Ruff Resistent (the black glove) is suitable for work with oil, degreasing agents and other chemical products. These gloves are available with a smooth interior or a rough coating.
2799;North’s range of chemical resistant garments are manufactured using double coated Ferranyl with ultrasonic welded seams. Using materials such as butyl, Viton and 4H for their full suits, hoods, masks and gloves, they provide total protection against most industrial chemicals and gases. The gloves are available in a variety of thicknesses with rugged or smooth surfaces depending on the area of use. All of North’s suits are re-usable. They are based upon the same principles as the chemical protection gloves and are adapted to the various areas of use. There are four suit types: splash-protection, waterproof, pressure suits and gas-tight.
2855;There are a number of different types of synthetic glove. And different gloves protect you from different substances. A lot of people prefer natural materials, but there are a number of situations where synthetic gloves are the obvious choice. The material chosen should reflect the substances the glove is going to come into contact with. Nitrile rubber is a synthetic alternative to natural rubber. It is durable and resistant to sharp objects. It is also perfect for people with glove allergies. Latex gloves are made from natural rubber and are produced mainly in Malaysia. The gloves are comfortable to wear, but can cause allergic reactions. Vinyl gloves are made from PVC. In such a slim design they are primarily suitable for protecting from water, oil and grease. Neoprene gloves are durable and resistant to such things as ketones and organic solvents.
2856;Soft Touch Rigg is a series of gloves that withstand everything from oil-covered machinery to grease and corrosive acids. The PVC coating makes them extremely durable and they remain soft in cold weather. It has proven difficult to find more environmentally-friendly material with these qualities, be we are continuously testing new sythetic materials that enter the market.
2857;Every job requires a special lining. Make the right choice! A glove with GORE-TEX membrane effectively protects against the wet, retains heat and provides the highest level of comfort. The GORE-TEX membrane is sewn into the glove between the glove’s lining and outer shell. Thinsulate lining insulates extremely well. The lining consists of microfibres, making the gloves extremely flexible. Teddy lining is warm and comfortable, but not particularly suitable for precision work. if you want a slimmer, more flexible winter glove, you should choose a glove with a fleece or Schanker lining.
2800;Our sports gloves are made for the most challenging sportsmen and women. In order to achieve the best functionality and quality we have cooperated with professionals. The collection is characterised by exclusivity and high-tech thinking. The motto is durability for long-term use and wear. Even away from work you want high quality, attractive and comfortable gloves. That is why weare pleased to present our sports favourites – four functional models with a unique fit and softness. They are all lined with a Thinsulate lining.
2801;Our face is a unique part of our personality. When we protect our face, therefore, comfort and safety are not the only important qualities. Even facial protection should represent our individual style. That is why we are supplying SoftTouch with a wide range of different eye and facial protection. They have all been treated with North’s exclusive 4A treatment for a higher level of scratch-resistance and a longer life: mist-free, antistatic, scratch-resistant and UV filter. There are also a variety of different coloured lenses, from clear lenses for indoor work to mirror lenses for work where bright lights can cause eye irritation.
2802;Tough jobs require durable work clothes. Our toughest work clothes are made from cotton, and are reinforced with PU-coated nylon in the most exposed areas. Several practical pockets and a flexible fit makes your work easier. You should be able to bend over, stretch and turn around without feeling restrained by your work clothes. Pockets and protection should be easy to use and serve their purpose. Basically, you shouldn’t even have to think about it. When clothes are doing their job you should be able to move about unrestrained and instead concentrate on doing your job.

2805;Are you warm, dry and comfortable while you work? These three essentials for outdoor work are exactly what our clothes are for. All of these clothes has been designed to fit well and they are made from waterproof, dirt-proof material which has in addition been strengthened with a warming fleece material in the more exposed areas. Our black work jackets have a longer back with an adjustable hem, the pilot jacket is equipped with an elasticated waist and cuffs, and our parkas have large warm pockets at chest height. All of these are qualities that effectively retain body heat and keep out damp and icy winds.
2806;Comfort and function go hand in hand. Our high visibility clothes are suitable for a variety of situations where you really need to be seen. For roadworks or in situations that require you to be visible. Comfortable and safe.
2807;Colt’s workwear is produced to be functional, provide good protection and last a long time. When we produced Colt’s rainwear, we had two goals: that it should be durable and that it should be possible to work unimpeded in them. Colt’s Wet is a popular set (jacket and trousers) in a heavy duty PVC, which remains soft in cold weather. Our PU garments are durable and light and the only moisture allowed through them is excess warmth, in the form of condensation and steam. This means that you can work unimpeded in this rainwear without getting sweaty.
2236;Safety GlovesESD approved gloves for all type of electronic assembling where high requirement is recommended. The test was made by SP, Swedish National Testing and Research Institute.
All gloves has a normal ESD approval and a Ericson approval.
The gloves are knitted in 15 gauge knitted machines.
Fitting is everything. You must be able to bend, stretch and turn without being stopped by your working clothes. Pockets and protections must be easy to use at the same time as they fulfil their function. You shouldn´t even have to think about it. When it works at it´s best you can move freely and concentrate on your job. Colt´s design aims at making you feel at home in your working clothes. You must feel comfortable and have freedom of action, be able to work without being hindered by seams and unnecessary details. The lines of Colt will follow you, not stop you.

. 2720;Patenterad Micro Foam Teknologi*
General features
The coating is very light with a microscopic cell structure which is porous and therefore the skin can breathe and any perspiration is “wicked” away quickly.
Micro Foam technology is 100% water based and no solvents such as DMF are used in the manufacturing process which is a known health hazard.
The “stretch to fi t “ design gives the best and closest fi tting gloves on the market which are stretchable and mould to the hand like a second skin.
This unique technology controls the amount of the coating material that penetrates the inside of the glove to an absolute minimum which means the liner is softer and more comfortable.
This is a major and signifi cant benefi t when compared to traditional solvent based polyurethane gloves which have as much polyurethane on the inside of the glove as is on the outside of the glove. This coating on the inside of the glove can irritate the skin and cause excessive perspiration due to rapid heat build up.
Silicone free, solvent free and non marking.
The coating is treated with which repels oil and water. [Grade 8 was achieved (classed as excellent) for both Water Repellency Test (AATCC Test Method 193-2004) and Oil Repellency Test (AATCC Test Method 118-2002). Test results are available upon request.]
